COVID 19
The event will be produced in accordance with the Victorian Government Health Guidelines. The Promoters are in regular communication with local and state government health departments and we are 100% committed to providing you with a Covid Safe Event. For contract tracing purposes all patrons entering the event must scan or sign in. All patrons must follow the Covid Safe Plan for this event. Prominent signage, Security and Covid Marshals will feature throughout the site. All patrons will receive an email / sms in the week leading up to the event linking you to our Covid Safe procedures and event rules / regulations.
Due to COVID 19, some restrictions or impositions may be forced upon us at the last minute. This could include things like the seating arrangements, limitations to queues, items that can and cannot be brought into the venue, social distancing measures, time changes, artist changes and so on. Please continually check this EVENT INFO page and our other communications platforms such as our social media pages, and please keep an eye out for email or SMS communication in the days prior to the event.
PLEASE READ CAREFULLY AND PASS ON TO OTHER MEMBERS OF YOUR GROUP.
1. ALL PATRONS MUST BRING THEIR OWN HIGH BACK CHAIR
Its is mandatory that all patrons bring a high back (normal size) fold up chair. Each patron must have their own chair. Chairs cannot be shared. This also applies to children. No other type of seating will be permitted (DO NOT BRING low back chairs, bean bags, blankets etc). A blanket is ok only for babies or toddlers.
2. PLEASE ARRIVE WITH YOUR WHOLE SOCIAL GROUP IF POSSIBLE
As patrons will be directed to sit in one of two zones, it would be ideal if you arrive together with your whole social group, to ensure that you can all sit together.
3. QR CODE CHECK IN
All patrons will be required to use the Service Victoria app to check in. Please have the app ready to go: https://service.vic.gov.au/check-in/
4. MASKS
Whilst wearing masks is not compulsory, patrons should follow Victorian Government requirements in regards to mask wearing at all times.
5. PATRONS CAN ONLY LEAVE THEIR CHAIR FOR 3 REASONS
To purchase food and beverage, to use the toilets, or to seek first aid. If it is a hot day, we will be relaxing this rule to an extent, to allow patrons, especially with children, to move around the site more freely and utilise shaded areas and seek respite from the heat. Dancing in front of your seat is ok however no dancing away from your seat or in groups.
6. THE VENUE WILL BE SPLIT INTO 2 ZONES AND PATRONS WILL BE ORGANISED INTO ZONES
Inside the venue there will be 2 “zones”. Patrons will be directed to sit in within a zone. Upon entering the venue, please follow the instructions of the marshalls. You must stay in your zone and not cross over to the other zone.
7. SOCIAL DISTANCING WILL BE ENFORCED AROUND ENTRY POINT, MAIN GATES AND BAR LANES.
We appreciate in advance your co operation in keeping socially distanced when in any queue - whether it be for entry, food or at the bars or toilets.
8. COVID MARSHALLS WILL BE THERE TO HELP
We will have COVID marshalls in place to help enforce social distancing and assist patrons as much as possible. Please co operate and follow their instructions.
9. KEEPING THE EVENT SAFE
Some of the Things we are doing to make our events safe:
- Regular touchpoint cleaning
- Additional Bar, Food & Sanitary facilities
- Additional Staffing – Security and Event staff to help manage social distancing onsite
- COVIDSafe marshalls to ensure compliance
- Hand Sanitiser stations
- Increased communications to patrons and staff
- Additional medical facilities and staffing where appropriate.
Also:
- Please stay home if you are unwell or experiencing any cold or flu symptoms no matter how mild*
- Please stay home if you have been in contact with someone who has tested positive for COVID-19*
- Please stay home if you have tested positive for COVID-19*
- Please stay home if you have travelled overseas or have been in a declared COVID-19 hot spot in the past*
- If you begin to develop symptoms during the event please make your way to the First Aid Health tent immediately.
*Note that a medical certificate may be required if you are seeking a refund due to illness or a COVID related issue. Inability to attend due to illness of any kind is not basis for a refund. There would have to be exceptional circumstances.
AGE RESTRICTIONS
Patrons under 18 years must be directly accompanied by a parent / guardian.
BOX OFFICE / TICKETING
The Box Office is located at the concert entry point and will be open 60 minutes prior to gates opening until the headline artist commences.
CONDITIONS OF ENTRY
All patrons must BYO fold up chair. It is a condition of entry that all bags, chairs, and personal belongings be presented to security staff for inspection and scanning at entry. Patrons detected attempting to bring BYO Alcohol into the venue will be refused entry / ejected without refund. Please note that this event also has a No Pass Out policy so please come prepared for the full day. All patrons must scan or sign in as part of our Covid Safe plan for purposes of contract tracing.
DISABLED PATRONS
Disabled parking will be available within close proximity to the event entrance. Please follow signage on arrival to this area and drive in via Gilles Street. Once inside the venue, patrons may take advantage of a dedicated viewing area located approximately 60 metres from the stage. This area is unreserved and available for disabled patrons and their immediate carer only. We accept companion cards for an immediate carer attending the event with a disabled patron. Please present your accreditation at entry to gate staff. Patrons please note that this is an outdoor venue with some uneven surfaces and is open to the elements. If you require any assistance on the day please ask one of our staff or security.
FOOD & BEVERAGE
This event will have a large range of food available for purchase, and includes menu items for intolerances and vegetarian / vegan patrons. A public bar will also operate for the event duration offering a range of Beer, Wine, Cider, Spirits and Non Alcoholic Beverages.
MERCHANDISE & ATM
A large range of Artist and exclusive Tour Merchandise will be available for the event duration from the merchandising facility adjacent to the bar. No ATM available. Cash and card accepted at merch, bars and food vendors. Contactless card Is preferred.
PARKING
Ample parking is located in the event precinct, around Lake Wendouree.
PERMITTED ITEMS
You may bring to this event: Camp Chair, Sealed Still Bottled Water (not carbonated ), Snack Foods, Cooler Bag, Rain Poncho, Non Professional Camera. It is also advised to bring a wide brimmed hat and sunscreen to the event.
PROHIBITED ITEMS
Items strictly prohibited from entry: Alcohol, Soft Drink & Non Alcoholic Beverages (apart from sealed still bottled water) Umbrellas, Glass, Metal Cutlery, Pets, Tables, Professional Cameras, Shade Structures, Tents, Offensive Clothing, MC Club Attire, Bicycles, Scooters, Food Dye.
SHUTTLE BUSES
Shuttle buses will run from 11am in front of the library in Creswick Rd Ballarat, dropping off at the venue in Gillies Street.
After the even there will be a return service. This is a free service - no booking required.
TICKETING POLICY
The official ticketing agency for this show is Ticketmaster Australia. The Promoter takes no responsibility for any tickets purchased outside of Ticketmaster. Tickets purchased through third parties such as Viagogo, Ebay, Gumtree, Facebook etc are done so at the customers own risk. Fraudulent tickets will not be honoured.
WEATHER POLICY
This event is an open air concert that will proceed rain, hail or shine. In the very unlikely event of an event cancellation, all ticket holders will be advised via SMS, Email, Social Media as well as an update on this website. The event will only be cancelled if the site is deemed too dangerous to proceed / continue. This decision will be made by Event Management / Security / The Venue and Emergency Services. Patrons are advised to come prepared for the elements with appropriate attire, sunscreen, wide brimmed hat, jacket/poncho.
LEAVING THE VENUE AFTER THE SHOW
Please be prepared and allow some time to leave the venue if you are driving. Expect delays. Your patience is appreciated. Also please respect our neighbours.
